Restoring function. Creating Health.
Expect 30 minute treatments with the soft tissue therapies of an osteo or physio & the structural & neurological work of a traditional chiro. Conveniently located close to Redfern Station.
What to expect in your initial consultation
Please put aside 45-60 minutes for your initial consultation which includes: New patient form, Patient History, Neurological, Orthopaedic and Chiropractic examinations. If necessary, I will refer for X-rays. Expect to receive soft tissue massage & your first chiropractic adjustment during this consultation. I offer rehabilitation techniques in the form of home exercises to help you heal sooner & in the best possible way to avoid re-injury.
Rest assured that if I feel that Chiropractic treatment is not appropriate for your case, you will be promptly referred to another professional in a different field. Feel free to ask any questions along the way. And don’t worry, although the adjustment can be a little noisy, it will be gentle, specific & in most cases completely relaxing.
Some of the more common complaints that I see day-to-day are: Lower back pain including sciatic pain and “slipped disc” pain, Neck pain including whip-lash and acute torticollis, Headaches and Migraines, Work-related Postural pain, Hip, Knee, and Ankle Injuries, Shoulder pain including Rotator Cuff Injuries and Shoulder Impingement, Tennis Elbow, Muscle Strains and Ligament Sprains.
Our approach to treatment
We combine the soft tissue therapies of a physiotherapist or osteopath with the structural and neuroplogical work of a traditional chiropractor, to ensure my patients get the best possible care. In some cases, I use sports tape and strapping techniques to help with the healing process. I see rehabilitation exercises as an important component of care, to avoid re-injury (but that part’s up to you).
